Wellington 15-piece salsa band La Orquesta Salvaje encouraged locals to cha-cha-cha through the afternnon yesterday, with Latin rhythms at Chicago Bar, as part of the Wellington International Jazz Festival. Salsa dancers Rogelio Carles-Rosas, left, and Kasia Wypych inspired the crowd with demonstrations of flamenco, samba, bolero and merengue, with many stepping out on to the floor to try the moves.
